Irish-American Michael Patrick Kelly was catapulted to fame as a teenager thanks to his musical family. Together with The Kelly Family, he had sold more than 20 million records by his 18th birthday, played in packed stadiums, collaborated with Pavarotti and been on stage with Michael Jackson.

Fame started to bother him as a young man, and after a six-year break as a monk in France, he started writing his own songs. B-O-A-T-S is his fifth solo album, contains 15 songs taken from real life, packed with influences from pop and folk, but also from the reggae and urban scene. This coach of The Voice of Germany pens anthems with Bruce Springsteen allure with grand gestures, but above all touches your heart with his beatific stories about real people, experiences and feelings.
