Swiss duo Aliose has carved out a distinctive place in the French pop scene over the past few years. Their debut EP, “Pixels” (2016), laid the foundation for their acclaimed album “Comme On Respire” (2017), produced by renowned French producer Pierre Jaconelli (Zazie, Benjamin Biolay, Calogero, Johnny Hallyday, among others).
Members Alizé and Xavier share a deep passion for classic French chanson, drawing inspiration from the 1970s and legendary artists such as Maxime Le Forestier, Alain Souchon, Michel Polnareff, Michel Berger, and William Sheller. At the same time, they have remained connected to the modern French pop and indie scene, citing influences like -M-, Camille, Philippe Katerine, Benjamin Biolay, Tété, Jérémie Kisling, as well as contemporary voices such as Gaël Faye, Voyou, and Pomme.
Following the success of their singles “Loin” and “Me Passer de Toi”, Aliose returned in spring 2020 with “J'ai Oublié”, a standout track from their album “Regarde Ailleurs”, produced in collaboration with Ziggy and Romain from the acclaimed Belgian band PUGGY.
