Bastien and Quentin met in 2017, united by a shared passion for DJing and house music. Influenced by artists such as Lost Frequencies and Don Diablo, they joined forces in 2018 to form Calumny. Their debut single Infinitely quickly gained attention, surpassing 100,000 streams and earning airplay on Belgium’s leading national radio stations, including Fun Radio and Radio Contact.
Since then, Calumny has steadily built momentum on the international electronic scene. With over 3 million total streams, including strong traction for their 2023 album HATCH, the duo expanded beyond Belgium, performing in France (Boww Festival, Bastille Day celebrations in Hautmont), Spain (Pacha La Pineda), and the Netherlands (Amsterdam Dance Event). Along the way, they shared lineups with artists such as Kungs, Bob Sinclar, The Avener, Mosimann, and Vladimir Cauchemar.
In 2024, Calumny launched their own radio show on Fun Radio, strengthening their presence in the mainstream electronic circuit. The following year marked a turning point: after a 35-date tour, their viral Seatbelt concept surpassed 6 million views, attracting industry attention and leading to a signing with Wagram Music, while also joining the international EDM label Future House Cloud.
In parallel, Calumny delivered high-profile official remixes, including Bob Sinclar’s Take It Easy On Me (WAGRAM) and Mosimann’s Halo (Sony Music France). Their original single The Feeling (Big Orgus) received major radio support in Belgium and France, entered the Shazam and iTunes Top 100, and reached the Top 30 in Belgian airplay, confirming their growing impact across both digital platforms and traditional media.
Known for their energetic performances, evolving sound, and strong visual identity, Calumny continues to push boundaries and expand internationally, positioning themselves as one of the most promising rising duos in the global electronic music scene.
