Born on February 27, 1987, in Brooklyn, New York, he started performing professionally at the age of six. Henry gained fame as a member of the acclaimed collective Snarky Puppy before launching a successful solo career. His albums, including First Steps, The Revival, and Something to Say, showcase his virtuosic skills and deep musical roots.

Cory Henry is also the bandleader of The Funk Apostles, a group known for their electrifying live performances and rich, soulful sound.
