INFO ABOUT TRAVEL AND MOBILITY

On Thursday 7 and Friday 8 August , Antwerp will be buzzing with events. In addition to the Ed Sheeran concerts, several other activities will take place in and around the city on those days. So it will be very busy on the roads, on public transport and in the city itself.

To get to the concert site smoothly, safely and without stress, good preparation is really important. Think carefully about your itinerary in advance and choose the option that suits you best — it's not always the car.

Here are some important tips:

  • Leave well in advance for the concert. This way you avoid last-minute stress and any traffic jams or crowds.
  • Find the best way to reach the site in advance. Think of the train, tram, bus, bicycle or park-and-ride: often faster and more convenient than by car.
  • Book your transport or parking in advance. Without a valid ticket for the bus, train, or parking, a spot cannot be guaranteed.

View all transport options below and make a smart choice. This way your concert evening starts carefree!

FAQ - Mobility

Where can I park my bike safely?

Cycling is the smartest choice! You avoid traffic jams, park close by and are quickly gone.

  • Free, manned bicycle parking at Regatta for those coming from the Waasland.
  • You can park your bike for free at the staffed Van Eeden bicycle parking if you're coming from Antwerp city centre.
  • From the centre of Antwerp, you have to cycle via the Waasland Tunnel (3 pm–2 am, only for bicycles, min. 12 years). Please note: Sint-Anna tunnel and ferry are closed to cyclists.
Where can I find an overview of the night trains?

SNCB is adding extra night trains to numerous destinations, ranging from Ostend to Hasselt and from Kortrijk to Leuven.

The full overview and tickets will be available from 16 July via the SNCB website.

Where do the official event shuttles depart?

The Event Shuttle departs from 82 pick-up points in Belgium and the Netherlands. You can travel there and back carefree, starting from €25 (price depends on your pick-up point).

Book in time via the Event Shuttle page — fully booked quickly!

FAQ - Tickets

When will I receive my tickets?

Your tickets will be available in the app of the ticket partner you placed your order with: Ticketmaster or Eventim.
To prevent fraud, tickets will not be visible in the app until 24 hours before the event..
Don't have the app yet? Download it now so you'll soon have your tickets to hand:

Quick and easy entry – here’s how:
  1. Make sure your phone is charged
  2. Open the app of your ticket provider (Ticketmaster or Eventim)
  3. Set your screen brightness to maximum
  4. Have your ID ready
  5. Show your barcode at the entrance

Accepted forms of photo ID include: a valid driver’s license (including provisional licenses) or a valid or recently expired passport (as long as the photo clearly matches the holder)

Can’t make it and want to sell your ticket?

The official resale of Ed Sheeran tickets has started. Resale through other channels is strictly prohibited. Therefore, please only use Ticketmaster or Eventim's official resale platform.
Tickets offered elsewhere - online or offline - will result in cancellation of the entire original booking, without refund.

Can I buy tickets as a gift?

If you want to buy tickets as gifts, you must also be present to give your recipients access to the show.

What's a lead purchaser?

Tickets are bought by one person, whose name is mentioned on the ticket as the main purchaser. This name must match the identity document checked at the entrance. Only this person and his/her party will be granted entry.

If you want to come with a larger group, it is necessary to place a separate order under a different name of a main buyer.

Re-entry allowed?

In is in, out is out. Everything you need is available on the concert grounds, food and drink stands, restrooms, and much more. Please note that it’s not possible to exit and re-enter the venue with the same ticket.

Need accessible tickets? Here’s how to get them.

Persons with disabilities should buy special tickets to use the wheelchair platform. Both the disabled visitor and accompanying person need a disabled ticket to use the platform.

Please note: You can only book these tickets via Ticketmaster from Wednesday 10 July at 9am local time by filling in the form for 7 August or 8 August. This is the same time as the general sale.

  • Wheelchair platform tickets cost €113 (including service charge) and are limited in number.
  • The maximum number of tickets for the wheelchair platform stands at 2 per order. You put the tickets in the name of the person with a disability, not in the name of the accompanying person. You also buy a specific ticket for the wheelchair platform for the accompanying person.

Reservations can only be made if you can prove your disability with a European blue parking card or other official document.

How does the recycling system work (cup, bottle, can)?

With your first drink, you pay 1 euro environmental contribution for your reusable cup, bottle or can. Take that to the bar when you get a new drink, and you'll get a fresh one without paying again.

Don't feel like lugging it around? Exchange it for an ecotoken at the bar, at an ecoteam or at one of the ecopoints.

Lost it anyway? Then pay 1 euro again with your next drink. At the end of the day, return your cup, bottle or can (or ecotoken) to an ecoteam or an ecopoint.

There is no refund - your contribution ensures that we can wash, reuse or recycle everything neatly. This is how we give the Middle Pond a future as a sustainable party venue.

Can I bring my own food and drinks?

No, it is not allowed. Don't worry: there are more than enough food and drink stands with something for everyone.

Is there accessible seating for people with disabilities?

A separate access row is provided at each entrance for visitors with a ticket for persons with reduced mobility.

Specifically on the left-hand side Entrance 2, there is an adapted access for wheelchair users. There are steel plates there for smooth and safe access to the site. All entrances open from 4pm.

There are also two viewing platforms available on the site itself, as well as adapted sanitary facilities.
Access to these facilities requires a specific access ticket for persons with reduced mobility. We do our best to make the site as accessible as possible for everyone, but unfortunately we cannot guarantee that every part of the site is (easily) accessible for people with disabilities or in wheelchairs.

Can I bring a small stool or seat?

Only with a medical certificate or in case of pregnancy are you allowed to bring a small foldable stool (like the example here) of max 50 cm high.

Can I take photos and videos?

Mobile phones and small digital cameras are allowed, as long as they do not have interchangeable lenses. Professional photographic and video material is not allowed. It is not allowed to produce and/or distribute (online or offline) professional and/or commercial content at the festival (whether or not through the use of influencers/content creators) without written permission from the festival organisation.

Are earplugs available on site?

Protect your ears!

Thanks to our partner Alpine, you can enjoy the concert safely and comfortably.

There are mobile Alpine teams on site, so earplugs are always nearby.

I’m breastfeeding – where can I go?

Are you breastfeeding and want to pump somewhere? Then you can go to the first aid tent. There is also a small fridge available to store milk.
