Nora Hamzawi was born in Cannes and grew up in Paris. She studied law and communication, but found her true voice in writing and producing comedy shows. Since 2009, she has been on all kinds of stages with her solo shows, exposing all the sore spots in society. She has won several awards, including the Prix SACD and the Grand Prix Sacem Humour.
Nora also attracted the attention of film producers and starred in Olivier Assayas' ‘Alice et le maire’ and ‘Doubles Vies’, among others. She also appeared on television: she joined the Quotidien team on TMC and became a columnist on France Inter. The list goes on and on. A busy bee, that Nora. On stage, Nora indulges in digressions, multiplying her storytelling to the point of subverting the stand-up routine and creating a special bond with her audience.
