Brussels Expo launches new immersive complex

A bold collaboration between You Studio, Brussels Expo, FKP Scorpio Entertainment Ltd, FKP Scorpio Belgium and Stage Magic, TERMINAL 01 redefines the future of live entertainment.

This autumn, the iconic Palais 1 of Brussels Expo will reopen under a brand-new name: TERMINAL 01. Starting in October 2025, this space of more than 10,000 m² will become Europe’s first hybrid immersive center — a place where technology, culture, entertainment, and emotion merge into truly unique experiences.

From a traditional event venue, TERMINAL 01 is being transformed into a dynamic platform with continuously changing programming. Digital art, interactive exhibitions, VR gaming, e-karting, and gastronomic experiences will alternate regularly. This is made possible by a flexible, modular setup, designed so that every visit feels different and is always full of surprises.

The project is a collaboration between Brussels-based design studio You Studio (known for projects like The Mint, Docks, City2, …) and Fire-Starter, the entertainment division of Brussels Expo. Together, they are responding to the fast-growing demand for immersive experiences.

Grand Premiere: The Last Days of Pompeii

The opening production at TERMINAL 01 is an immediate Belgian exclusive: The Last Days of POMPEII: the immersive exhibition — a large-scale sensory journey previously acclaimed in Madrid and Berlin. The exhibition is brought to you by entertainment giant FKP Scorpio (Kraftwerk, Ed Sheeran) and Belgian audience favorite Stage Magic (Dino World, Cirque du Soleil, Viva Frida Kahlo, The Smurf Experience).

An unprecedented journey through ancient Pompeii

In The Last Days of POMPEII: the immersive exhibition, visitors walk through Pompeii during the final hours before it was buried under the ashes of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD. The highlights include two breathtaking VR experiences: a virtual walk through a Roman house and a gladiator fight in the arena. Carefully crafted projections on the walls and floor allow visitors to experience firsthand the chaos and devastation of the eruption that blanketed the city in a veil of ash and lava.
History has never been this immersive.

This international top-tier experience was developed by Madrid Artes Digitales (MAD), experts in digital storytelling and innovative exhibitions.

Opening: October 2025
