With the hits ‘Home’ and ‘Hungry’, Dotan had already established a real formula for success in 2014. The combination of menacing rhythms, wide melodies and intriguing lyrics ensured that every folk-rock fan immediately took the Dutchman to their hearts. The new songs he has already unleashed on the world (‘Louder’, ‘Diamonds in My Chest’ and ‘Drown Me in Your River’) harbour the warmth that is so typical of Dotan. With the new album ‘A Little Light in the Dark’ (release 25 October), he did not want overly polished productions, but mainly songs that are full of nostalgia and dreaminess.
