Since David Bowie praised Ozark Henry’s debut album as one of his favorites, the Belgian artist has produced music ranging from avant-garde electronica to pop and a symphonic album with the National Orchestra of Belgium. Ozark Henry’s universe is defined by a blending of craft with experiment, audio with visual, heritage with technology. TEDx and Google New York invited him to talk about his ground-breaking work in 3D immersive sound.
Ozark Henry plays 'Birthmarks' (2001)
Birthmarks' by Ozark Henry is twenty years old and that - you can hear the drum roll from afar - deserves to be celebrated! And rightly so! Because 'Birthmarks', the third album of Piet Goddaer's brainchild, is not accidentally the most successful Ozark Henry album. Not surprisingly so, because no less than five singles were released from the album: 'Rescue', 'Sweet Instigator', 'Seaside', 'Word Up' and 'Intersexual'.
As part of the AB ◄◄REWIND series, Ozark Henry will perform his classic 'Birthmarks' in its entirety (with, of course, a series of encores on top of that).
