The twin brothers (Bill and Tom) and two friends (Georg and Gustav) started making music as youngsters in Magdeburg, Germany. Tokio Hotel soon topped the charts in their home country, before the band members unleashed the monster hit 'Durch den Monsun' or the English version 'Monsoon' on the world. The hype was unleashed in 2007, followed by successful singles 'Scream' and 'Don't Jump', sold-out venues and swooning girls all over Europe.
Both the appearance of the group's members and their musical oeuvre have already gone through several metamorphoses. Despite several short breaks, Tokio Hotel already wrote seven albums together and conquered all stages and festivals worldwide. And it doesn't stop there, as there is now also a podcast 'Kaulitz Hills', Bill and Tom serve as judges on The Voice of Germany and they have released a Christmas single. After more than seven million records sold in 68 countries and countless awards, Tokio Hotel is far from the end of their unique journey.
