Das Pop, the band around vocalists Bent Van Looy and Niek Meul, is ready to return to the stage. Known for their infectious pop choruses, the band has embedded themselves in the ears of music fans since the late 1990s. After winning Humo's Rock Rally in 1998, Das Pop released their debut album ‘I Love’ two years later. Now, in 2025, the band is making a triumphant return to live performances to celebrate the 25th anniversary of their debut album.
For this occasion, Bent and Niek have teamed up with a new generation of talented musicians (as Reinhard Vanbergen is focusing on his own musical projects and dissertation) and have already been hard at work in the rehearsal room, preparing to showcase their vibrant, unforgettable songs once again.
Equipped with a collection of perfect pop hits such as ‘You’, ‘Never Get Enough’, ‘Wings’, ‘The Game’, and ‘Underground’, a wardrobe full of striking outfits, and, most importantly, an eagerness to hit the stage again, Das Pop is ready to embark on a wild, exciting pop journey that will go far beyond expectations.
