Elis Floreen is a contemporary musical artist, songwriter, singer and producer from Limburg, Belgium. Her songs stem from colourful, intricate, lyrical and unpredictable stories. In her childhood there was always a lot of music from the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s that Elis picked up and now weaves into her songwriting. During de pandemic, Elis Floreen spent several years in Copenhagen to explore other genres and refine her work as a songwriter and producer. Elis was a finalist for Sound Track 2023 and Studio Brussel's De Nieuwe Lichting 2024 while working on her debut album with producer Jo Francken. On stage, she creates a world of avant-garde folk-pop to immerse yourself in, stories to lose yourself in and songs to swing or dance to. Think a mix of Kate Bush, Kadhja Bonet, Paul Simon and Natalia Lafourcade.
