Sylvestre Salumu (born 18 June 1996), better known by his stage name Woodie Smalls, is a Belgian rapper born and raised in Sint-Niklaas, Belgium. In early 2016 he performed at the US festival South by Southwest and his song ‘Tokyo Drift’ was incorporated into the video game NBA 2K18. He started rapping at a young age, putting on a random beat and freestyling over it. He is known for the song ‘Planet Shrooms’ that went viral. His debut album ‘Soft Parade’ was released in 2015 and since then he has gained a lot of attention. He performed dozens of times across Europe and released his mixtape ‘Space Cowboy’. In 2020 the album ‘In Between Spaces’ was released with features from Isaiah Rashad.
