Oska is the pseudonym of musician and singer Maria Burger. She grew up in a large Austrian family in a house where music always flowed. As a young girl, she learned to play guitar and wrote songs when she was back from school. She has taken all the influences and impressions of her childhood and upbringing to the metropolis of Vienna, and she transforms them into light melodies, groovy rhythms and poetically narrative lyrics. Debut album 'My World, My Love, Paris' was released during the pandemic and is an account of a young woman growing up in uncertain times. She joined Tom Odell on tour, won the prestigious Music Moves Europe Award at Eurosonic (previously won by resounding names such as Dua Lipa, Stromae, Hozier, Adele and Mumford & Sons) and is soon heading across the big ocean to the United States.
